Developed by arborists Scott Prophett and Norm Hall in the early 1990s, the Portawrap has become a reliable and effective tool for safely lowering loads during rigging operations.

Previously, ground workers primarily controlled heavy wood by wrapping the lines around a nearby tree, which often led to damage from surface friction. Today, the modern arborist can quickly set up a Portawrap for multiple lowering tasks, significantly enhancing efficiency.

Quickly wrapped and unwrapped between loads

Provides a user-friendly solution for lowering limbs and blocks

Offers predictable friction, allowing focus on load dynamics

The Notch Portawrap features significant corrosion resistance and tree protection.
