Rope Logic's Samson 5/8" x 10' Stable Braid Eye Sling

The eye sling is one of the most versatile tethers for rigging hardware. It can easily secure a block, Portawrap, or other device within its eye.

A choking hitch, such as a cow hitch or timber hitch, can be tied using the running end. Although knowledge of knots is essential for using an eye sling, its efficiency and simplicity are undeniable.

The tightly woven outer jacket of the rope offers protection to the load-bearing inner core, preventing abrasion. While traditionally favored by arborists, the popularity of double braids like this one is decreasing in favor of stronger and more easily monitored 12-strand alternatives.
