Driven by a high-output 252 cc Toro® Premium 4-Cycle OHV Engine (8.0 HP), it processes up to an incredible 2,400 lbs of snow per minute and throws heavy snow banks up to 49 feet away in a single pass.

Built to handle the toughest winter storms without mechanical failure, the Power Max HD 28 features Toro's commercial-grade steel auger gearbox—engineered to be 2x stronger than traditional shear pin designs to eliminate broken pins when hitting hard-packed ice. Toro's patented Anti-Clogging System (ACS) prevents chute blockages by routing excess snow away from the chute during heavy loads. Outfitted with an all-metal Quick Stick® 200° chute controller, triggerless automatic power steering, 14-inch Never-Flat high-traction tires, and a dual-light LED system (featuring a panoramic headlight bar and dedicated footwell light), the Toro 39968 delivers unmatched performance on paved surfaces, gravel driveways, and steep inclines.

Note: Equipped with 120V electric start alongside recoil backup. Suitable for paved concrete, asphalt, gravel driveways, and steep inclines. Uses standard 5W-30 4-stroke engine oil.
