The Buckstrap Blue Streak Steel Snaps, designed for use on trees ranging from 4' to 7'. This traditional lanyard utilizes a Prusik folded midline mechanism, allowing for easy adjustments while maintaining safety at a low cost.

Originally developed for linemen working on telephone poles, the buckstrap requires minimal adjustments due to the consistent diameter of the poles. While it has become popular among tree care professionals, it has some limitations, particularly on trees with significant taper.
