Wirecore lanyards have evolved significantly over the years. Initially, they featured steel snaps and D-rings, making steel-on-steel contact logical due to the uncovered wire core ends. However, advancements in design have shifted the materials used in modern saddles.

Some key updates to wire-core lanyards include:

  • Transition from steel to aluminum D-rings.
  • Complete steel-core encasement in SherrillTree-produced wire-core lanyards.
  • Introduction of aluminum snaps for enhanced durability.

As a result of these advancements, the question arose: Why not use aluminum snaps on wire-core lanyards? The straightforward answer: Let's start!

We are excited to introduce our new Wire-Core Flipline, which features an ISC aluminum locking snap with a swivel. Additionally, this product is scannable compatible, allowing for track and trace capability.
